 Founded by Daita Kimura, the brand is based in London but has manufacturing in Japan. Daita moved to England in 1988 & created The Old Curiosity Shop in 1994 along with his own fashion label named after himself. His unique shoes were a mix of old traditional elements, & Landon’s punk musical style with a modern twist. He was known in London for creating shoes for Alexander McQueen’s & Yohji Yamamoto’s runway shows. John Moore the creator of the hog toes created a “handmade line” with Daita that is in operation to this day.
