Number (N)ine was founded in 1997 by Takahiro Miyashita the brand holds heavy influence from the American and music scene (grunge, rock, punk) as many of the pieces embody the style and aesthetic. The Number (N)ine name itself is derived from "Revolution 9," the Beatles song off their seminal self-titled 1968 album. Here I have A very iconic Number (N)ine t-shirt coming from the AW09 “A Closed Feeling” ‘STUPID’ series which is a collective of tees with different messages. This particular tee quotes “ my voice is half my life, my guitar is the other half. ” This season is also to be noted as Takahiro Miyashita last collection with his founding label Number (N)ine.
