John Galliano is a British fashion designer who has served as head designer of the French haute couture houses Givenchy (1995-1996) and Christian Dior (1996-2011). This piece comes from his own label and was produced during his era designer for Dior. In 2010, Galliano identified his love of theatre and femininity as central to his creations; he said "my role is to seduce", and credited Standard Oil heiress Millicent Rogers as an influence. Galliano was appointed as creative director for the mens, womens, and accessories and also created its Artisanal couture collection in 2014 were he currently resides.
