This elusive Mud Max denim boasts a low rise slim flare silhouette adorned with intricate distressing and double knee fabric for reinforcement. The faded “black” is a blueish purple grey mud wash similar to Rick Owens early 2000’s “black” mud wash. Additionally, it excludes the iconic pierced rings seen throughout other mud max pairs, an uncommon feature. Like other pairs the jeans feature the spell down 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 in grey along the black leg seam.

Nobuhiko Satoh's label IF SIX WAS NINE,  which got its name from a Jimi Hendrix song, is a luxury Japanese label based in Tokyo. Influenced by Japanese Americana the label embodies the rock ‘n’ roll fashion to the teeth & has been worn infamously by J-rock artist Hyde, these jeans appeal to the rebellious grungy aesthetic with a gypsy like touch.
