The iconic distressed rockstar denim that paved the way for Dior Homme by Hedi Slimane, These jeans are arguably without a doubt one of Hedi’s/Dior’s most coveted denims and comes in a rare waxless variant, The garment itself features distressing throughout the legs and lower thigh, this version also has fabric behind the distressing not exposing the skin. It was birthed in the following Spring/Summer 2005 (UNTITLED) Collection as a nod to the success of the waxed destroyed “STRIP” denim from the previous S&S “STRIP” collection of 2004. This “UNTITLED” season is also referred to as “BECK” because in 2004 Beck Hansen gave fashion designer Christian Dior a 22 minute piece of music, produced by Nigel Godrich, to play during his runway show. Title is unknown, as is if it will ever be properly released.
