Hedi Slimane’s spring 2004 work, evocatively dubbed “Strip,” continued from where AW2003 “Luster” left off. Though the silhouettes were lighter, and the rising temperatures brought about bodies more exposed than those which stalked the runway the season before, the louche black fabrics which glittered and reflected off the runway remained. As did the sex appeal culled from the aesthetics of Berlin’s taboo clubs, where reflective PVC and waxed garments would’ve been the sole providers of stray shimmers of light.
These heavy-waxed jeans feature the signature Dior Homme cut, with an ultra long inseam, low-rise, and drainpipe leg fit. The wax itself looks like green almost goldish tint, complimenting the the light ice blue wash
