Original design released in Hedi’s Autumn & Winter 2003, “Luster“ Collection, The iconic “Luster“ waxed denim have seen a few reissued variants throughout multiple early Dior season.

AW2001-2002 Established as a menswear line of Christian Dior from the Paris collection. Hedi Slimane, who was the designer of the menswear line at Yves Saint Laurent, was the artistic director of the brand launch.

Prior to the launch of Dior Homme, there was a men's line called Dior Mush, which was designed by Patrick La Voie.

From the first season, Dior Homme has created a sensation in the world. "I want men to be more sophisticated and attractive," said artistic director Hedi Slimane, who unveiled a work with a very tight silhouette centered on black, leather black ties, and slender jackets. bottom. Ash's Dior Homme started in the Spring of 2008. His first season attracted attention with classic and elegant elements. FOR AUTUMN WINTER 2003 “LUSTER” COLLECTION HEDI SLIMANE LEANED MORE TOWARDS AN INDUSTRIAL AESTHETIC. HIS USUAL CLOSE-TO-THE-BODY TAILORING IS NOW EMBOLDENED BY LEATHER OUTERWEAR, LACE, AND BROCADE. THE BOLD STUDS AND HEAVY JACKETS GAVE HIS MODELS A NEO-EQUESTRIAN LOOK THAT HARKENED BACK TO DICKENSIAN CHARACTERS. THESE BOLD BLACK TRIBAL OUTFITS ALSO REFERENCED THE INDUSTRIAL, PUNK, AND ROCK MUSIC SCENES. THESE BLACK DENIM JEANS FEATURE A UNIQUE WASH WITH WHISKERING AND A CLAW MARK DETAIL ON THE LEFT LEG. CLASSIC DIOR HOOK AND BUTTON CLOSURE AT THE WAIST. THE ICONIC JEANS WERE REISSUED A FEW TIMES, MOST NOTABLY SS04 “ STRIP “ COLLECTION AND THE AW07.
